About ScrapBrooke
Hi, I’m Brooke. I’m 23, living in Newport Beach, California, and I created ScrapBrooke as a place for all the things I wish I’d had growing up.
I’m deeply into wellness, beauty, lifestyle, fashion, and the quieter, more meaningful parts of girlhood, and learning how to take care of yourself, how to love well, how to navigate friendships, careers, health, and all the in-between moments that no one really prepares you for.
My mom passed away when I was one, and because of that, I learned a lot of “girl things” on my own. There were so many moments growing up where I felt embarrassed to ask questions about hygiene, body changes, relationships, or self-care things that a mom might normally guide you through. I remember saving up from dog walking to buy a book about puberty from American Girl at ten years old. I was desperately trying to piece together answers by myself while growing up with a single dad who was doing his best, but didn’t always know how to help in those ways.
ScrapBrooke exists because I don’t want anyone else to feel that quiet confusion or shame. I wanted to create a space that feels like sitting on the bed with a friend, swapping stories, sharing recommendations, and talking honestly about life. Whether I’m writing about skincare, mental health, love, jobs, beauty, wellness, or just something random that’s been on my mind, my goal is connection. No judgment. No pretending. Just real conversations.
This blog is for women of all ages and all situations. Whether you grew up with a lot of guidance or had to figure things out on your own. There’s no how-to manual for life, and this is my way of building the one I wish I had. A safe space to learn, laugh, level up, and grow together 🤍
xoxo, B.💋✨
